The Big Ten’s policy to block night games in November, is having a major affect in 2009.  Of course, we’re talking about the November 1st bout in Happy Valley between Ohio State and Penn State.  Both teams – co-champions in ‘08, and the only two teams to win the championship in the past four years – are likely to be playing for another title when they meet this season and no doubt PSU fans would like to see a night game.

Of course, that isn’t going to happen.  Most likely, the game will begin at 3:30 and air on ABC…

The teams meeting in 2010 at the Shoe will also fall in November (10) although games in 2011 and 2012 are to be played in October…
