We now believe that Penn State will finish the season at 11-1 and tie Iowa for the conference title, which assumes that the Hawkeyes lose at least once perhaps at Ohio State on November 14. If the Nittany Lions and Hawkeyes tie at 7-1 in the conference, both will win a share of the conference title but Iowa will win the tie-breaker to head to the Rose Bowl. However, we assume that Penn State will still make the BCS and end up in the Orange Bowl. And even if Iowa goes undefeated, we still believe that a 11-1 PSU team will ride to either the Orange or Fiesta Bowl.
