Ohio State will open the 2010 football season on Thursday, September 2 versus Marshall, it was announced today. The Buckeyes join Minnesota (which travels to Middle Tennessee) as the two conference teams that will begin the season two days early.
The defending Big Ten and Rose Bowl champion will then have two extra days to prepare for Miami (FL.) which visits The Shoe on September 11.
